Customer Problem

Viavi Inc. a leader on Radio Access Networks, hired us to implement a 5G core-3GPP NWDAF virtualized predictive network analytics platform to perform automatic analysis, and provide proactive decision-making information to the network to help improve performance, capacity and availability. 

Background

NWDAF performs data analytics for 5G core and RAN, continuously extracting 5G data, analyzing the extracted information and predicting based on statistical methods like linear regression and AI-based models. 

Few 100 million of devices will be connected to 5G Network, so the network must be constantly optimized based on data available hence it becomes mandatory to use analytics in order to provide better consumer service.

We designed a breakthrough Network Continuous Intelligence Platform delivering: 

  • Prediction applied to 4 real-time streams 
  • Prediction on which nodes will cause least handoff 
  • Prediction RF management per location 
  • Predictive 3GPP analytics: Slice/NF Load Level and Network Performance Information.
