DYNAMOEDGE has signed a long-term agreement to integrate its real-time analytics technology into DIRECTV Latin America’s operations across seven countries.
Carmel-based tech startup DynamoEdge has signed a long-term deal that incorporates the company’s real-time analytics technology into DIRECTV Latin America’s operations that serve 9 million customers in seven countries.
DynamoEdge, which launched in 2021, offers artificial intelligence-powered software that analyzes real-time raw data from homes, fleets, and networks, anticipating problems before they occur.
Barbara Bessolo, DynamoEdge’s founder and CEO, declined to disclose financial details of the long-term agreement with DIRECTV Latin America—but she said the deal is very significant for her company. “For a startup to be able to deliver such a critical performance for such a large company in a multinational deployment is huge. It’s absolutely huge,” Barbara B. said.
Guillermo Vazquez, the Argentina-based director of strategic alliances for DIRECTV Latin America, said, “DynamoEdge’s technology will help his company operate more efficiently and deliver better service. As one example, if a customer has a connectivity problem, a telecom may dispatch a technician to the customer’s home to diagnose and fix the problem. With DynamoEdge, DIRECTV Latin America can now detect issues and address them before they become problems, which reduces the number of customer complaints and technician visits.”
“It’s a really complex problem that we found a very good solution to try to fix it,” Guillermo Vazquez said of the DynamoEdge technology.
